Industries

Sectors we know well enough to be useful on day one

We do not claim to know every industry. These are the ones where we have delivered enough engagements to skip the learning curve.

Construction & trades

Job costing that reconciles, retainage tracked properly, and subcontractor paperwork that does not hold up payment.

Healthcare administration

Back-office structure for clinics and practice groups: scheduling admin, billing coordination and recordkeeping discipline.

Retail & e-commerce

Merchant reconciliation across multiple platforms, inventory reporting and seasonal staffing plans that actually hold.

Non-profits

Fund and grant tracking, board-ready reporting packs, and volunteer administration processes that survive committee turnover.

Professional services

Time capture, work-in-progress reporting and utilisation dashboards for firms of five to fifty fee earners.

Distribution & logistics

Purchase-to-pay tidy-up, supplier terms review and warehouse admin procedures written down for the first time.

Not on the list?

That is common, and it is not a problem. Operations problems rhyme across sectors: information arrives late, responsibilities are unclear, and the reporting does not answer the owner's question. What changes is the vocabulary.

If we genuinely lack the sector knowledge to be useful, we will say so on the first call and, where we can, point you to someone who has it. We would rather lose an engagement than learn on your budget.
